Provepharm enters fluorescence imaging market with US and UK launch of Zyogreen®, its ready-to-use indocyanine green dye

Marseille, France, September 24, 2026 – Provepharm, a leading international pharmaceutical company specializing in medical dyes, today announces its entry into the fluorescence imaging market in its drive for continued growth. Provepharm’s first move into the fluorescence imaging area, marked by the commercial launch of Zyogreen® in the US and the UK, reinforces its position as a pioneer in advancing dye quality and usability. Building on this milestone, the company is preparing additional regulatory submissions across Europe and other international markets to expand Zyogreen’s global availability.
Zyogreen is a patented, ready-to-use indocyanine green (ICG) for fluorescence imaging and the first fluorescence innovation stemming from Provepharm’s scientific platform, paving the way for a new generation of fluorophores.
Building on its innovations in visible dyes, Provepharm has introduced Zyogreen, its third new dye molecule, following Provayblue® (methylene blue Injection, USP) and Bludigo® (Indigo Carmine Injection, USP). The addition of Zyogreen strengthens the company’s unique portfolio of medical dyes; underscoring its ongoing commitment to advancing surgical visualization, ultimately aimed at improving patient care.

The indocyanine green market is experiencing strong momentum, with more than two million units estimated worldwide in 2025 (Source: IQVIA, ICG units) and annual growth of approximately 16% over the past three years. In the US alone, the indocyanine green market was valued at approximately $128 million for the twelve months ended July 2026 (Source: IQVIA). This strong market momentum is creating new opportunities to innovate across the entire value chain.
For healthcare professionals, Zyogreen’s ready-to-use sterile solution is designed to simplify operating room workflows by eliminating the reconstitution step required when using currently available indocyanine green dyes. At the same time, as scaling the supply of indocyanine green dyes becomes increasingly critical to meeting growing demand, Zyogreen helps streamline the supply chain by eliminating the lyophilization manufacturing step.
